By the age of 20 months Kit had already achieved his Australian Championship title and won BEST IN SHOW at the 4^th National Chihuahua Championship Show (judge Francesco Cochetti, Italy).

On his return to Australia Kit was only shown sparingly (he had nothing to prove to anyone).  In limited shows he won 3 Runner Up Best in Groups (equivalent to BOG2’s).
